A brief introdution to Wilton Hockey Club:

Wilton Mens Hockey Club was formed from Wilton ICI Club and is affiliated to Durham County Hockey Association. Play first took to the field at the Wilton ICI Club, (now Mannion Park), moving to the Southlands Sports Centre as field hockey progressed onto the Astro-turf surface. We currently have approximatley 63 members and field 3 League Teams each Saturday.

We also have a Sunday Team, Summer League Team and Indoor Team and we have had several players achieving not only County Squad status but also working their way through to the North-East England squads. As league hockey has caught on the club has had various successes as sides moved up and down their respective leagues, the First Team XI gaining promotion to the First Division as Division 2 Champoins in the 2001/02 season, and the Second Team XI achieving promotion to the Third Division in the same year.
